Canoga Park Centennial Year Continues...

Street Banners will soon go on sale to line the street of historic downtown Canoga Park celebrating the Centennial.  If you or your company would like to purchase a street pole banner $375 make your reservation now by call the Chamber Office 818-884-4222.

With so many events behind us, see Memories Page the next event will be the Saint Patrick’s Day March through Canoga Park on Saturday, March 17.  The march begins in at 1 pm in front of the Madrid Theater and ends in the parking lot of Follow You Heart Restaurant where there will be music and entertainment.

Happy Birthday to Canoga Park Continues…

The Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade will be adding a 5K Centennial run this year to take place before the beginning of the Parade.  Participants will run from Quimby Park to the Parade starting line and back to the Park.  After the Parade the festivities will once again continue at Quimby Park with music and food until 4:00 pm.

Another event has been added to the Centennial Celebration with the Grand Opening of the Orange Line connecting Canoga Park to the Chatsworth Train Depot.  The exact date has not been given we know that the event will take place in June.  The expansion of the  Orange Line includes a bike path. 

During the Grand opening events Non Profits and Canoga Park businesses are encouraged to participate, and will be given the opportunity to have a booth and no fee at this event. 

The MTA  has brought the Orange Line in ahead of schedule and the community is looking at this opportunity to continue are efforts in making Canoga Park a “green community”.
